In a commentary at the end of the Sunday Angelus prayer, the Supreme Pontiff exhorted «international organizations and those with political and military responsibilities» to relaunch the search for a way to the cessation of violence, which will lead to peace, stability and unity in the country.
I also pray, said Francisco, for the thousands of migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and internally displaced persons in Libya, for whom «the health situation has aggravated their precarious conditions, making them more vulnerable to forms of exploitation and violence.
I invite the international community, please, to take their situation to heart, identifying ways and means to ensure them the necessary protection, a dignified condition and a future of hope, the Pope stressed.
