The press release indicates that in this quarter of a century, both countries have built a privileged relation in various fields, based on respect and mutual benefit, and «committed to the sustainable development of their peoples.»
In that regard, the collaboration in issues of higher education and culture stands out, as well as the arrival in the Principality of a Cuban medical brigade to provide support in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
As other milestones of the exchange are the official visit to Cuba by Andorra’s Foreign Minister Maria Ubach Font and the meeting with her counterpart, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, in February 2020.
In addition, the existing cooperation in international organizations increased, reflected in the mutual support for the candidacies, and the commitment of both countries to multilateralism prevails to face current global challenges, Cubaminrex website details.
Recently, the heads of diplomacy in Cuba and Andorra highlighted on Twitter the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations and ratified their willingness to strengthen exchange in different areas.
