Lawmaker Raad Dahlaki confirmed the deaths of five women from a family of displaced people when their makeshift house collapsed.
Dahlaki charged that the victims must be accounted to the Government’s marginalization policy and shows the humanitarian problem that the previous Executive put aside.
The heavy rains, which exceeded 120 millimeters in 24 hours, according to authorities, have hit the northern Iraqi provinces, including the autonomous region of Kurdistan, and have caused floods.
