«The Art on the Road experience has been very successful as it created a true state of interaction between artists and the public, and turned a public site into a place to distribute art, beauty and love of life,» said Syrian sculptor Mustafa Ali, organizer of the activity.
Ali added that young and veteran artists and children who are fond of art have showed their arts in painting, sculpture, singing, dancing and music for seven days.
We have had national and international success, and we have received messages from different countries that express admiration for the activity that reflects the true Syrian lover of peace, art and beauty, the organizer added.
In turn, the participants stated that the goal is to convey a message to the world that «despite the horrors of the Syrian war, the country still beats with love and art, and its people are still capable of giving a brilliant and true image of their nation.»
