Francisco Duran, director of Epidemiology of that institution, communicated both data in the daily press conference to update on the impact of the coronavirus SARS-Cov-2 in Cuba.
The total number of recoveries represents 81.5 percent of the 1,887 confirmed cases of this disease in Cuba, added the doctor, who reported six new cases after the 1,688 tests carried out yesterday.
He noted that the day before, as in the five previous days, there were no deaths, and the number of deaths from the deadly disease in the largest of the Antilles remained at 79.
On the other hand, Duran said that of the patients diagnosed with the illness, 260 show stable clinical evolution, two were evacuated to their countries of origin, and there is one in a critical state and seven in serious condition.
Once again, the doctor urged his compatriots to comply with protective measures and government guidelines to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
