The willowy athlete, who holds the second best triple jump record (15.41 outdoors), broke the South America indoor record which has been set since February 2019 (14.92).
Likewise, the South American triple jumper, pupil of the Cuban triple jumper Ivan Pedroso who holds Sydney 2000 triple jump gold medal, had a great start, becoming a hopeful way to Tokyo 2020.
The 2020 Summer Olympics will take place from July 24 to August 9, and will be attended by over 10,000 athletes from around 200 nations.
