The poll, conducted by NBC News-Wall Street Journal found out that the aspiring democrats are at an advantage on a national level over Trump in a theoretical face-off over the Oval office.
Former vice-president Joseph Biden would hypothetically win with a 50 percent support against Trump, who would have 44 percent of the votes.
On his part, Senator Bernie Sanders would come out victor over Trump, 49 to 45.
The Senator for Massachussets Elizabeth Warren and the former Mayor for South Bend, Indiana, Pete Buttgieg would also come out on top, although it would be tighter. With 48 for Warren and Buttgieg with 46 percent.
The expected caucus such as the one slated for tomorrow in Iowa, opens the process to choose the nominee to represent each of the two main parties of the country in this year’s elections.
As for the RealClearPolitics site, Sanders leads the 11 pre-candidates in Iowa by 23.8 percent, followed by Biden (20.2), Buttgieg (15.8) and Warren (14.6).
