The Covid-19 patients live in 13 provinces, and the region with the highest number of cases is Havana with 44 cases, 32 of which are imported.
According to information disclosed by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), 32 of all cases were contacts of other patients, 80 have a source of infection abroad and experts did not detect the origin of contagion in four cases.
So far, there are 1,049 active patients in hospitals, 1,041 of whom are stable, while six are critical and two are seriously ill.
Over the last 24 hours, 88 patients recovered from the disease, totaling 9,307 peploe since the outbreak of the pandemic in March.
According to the MINSAP, 3,007 patients remain in clinical epidemiological surveillance, 786 are suspected cases and 1,172 are under surveillance.
Besides, scientists studied 12,177 samples to detect SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, so 1,368,738 PCR tests in real time have been made in Cuba over last nine months.
