This is the fourth humanitarian aid shipment received by the UN System, the Pan-American Health Organization and the World Health Organization in the country, Alvarado said on Monday. He, along with Sectorial Vice President for Social Development Aristobulo Isturiz, received the aid at Simon Bolivar International Airport in Maiquetia, La Guaira state.
The Venezuelan health minister explained that among the protection supplies are more than 1,500,000 facemasks, full facemasks for the country’s health personnel, as well as gowns and protective glasses.
Alvarado explained about this issue that these supplies will be distributed immediately throughout the National Health System and in the Comprehensive Social Healthcare Posts located in the states of Zulia, Tachira, Apure, Bolivar and in large capitals such as Caracas, Miranda and Aragua.
