Fars news agency commented on a decision by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to block 27 domains for violating Washington’s sanctions.
The report said that four of those websites belong to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), which US authorities accuse of influencing US citizens. In October, the US Government blocked 92 Iranian domains, and it often hinders the Internet broadcasts of HispanTV, PressTV and other media organizations from Iran.
According to Fars, the United States is trying to stigmatize the IRGC due to its role in the fight against terrorists supported by Washington and for providing military advice to neighboring Iraq and Syria at the request of the governments of those countries.
