On his program «Con el Mazo Dando,» Cabello ratified Venezuelans’ willingness to defend the achievements of the Revolution; «They have not been able and will not be able to win,» he said in reference to the far-right.
In this regard, he recognized the determination and dignity of the people, which on Wednesday prevented the violent intentions of the right from being realized in central Caracas.
The leadership of extreme sectors of the opposition planned to generate a new violent episode at the Federal Legislative Palace, in which a special session of the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) was held on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. However, the Venezuelan people repudiated the presence of those legislators, Cabello stressed.
On the other hand, the official recalled the World Congress of Political Parties and Social Movements, to be held in Caracas from January 22 to 24, as a continuation of the Sao Paulo Forum, in order to design the 2020 agenda for Latin America and the world.
