Syrian army continues taking the initiative on line fronts

Damascus, Feb 1 (Prensa Latina) The Syrian Army continued taking the initiative this Saturday on the line fronts of Aleppo and Idlib, after rejecting terrorist counterattacks and retaking the towns of Luf and Qamhana, in addition to approaching the city of Saraqueb on the road between Aleppo and Hama.

On Friday, the military fought strong clashes with extremists and expelled them from the towns of Hish, Amerieh, Kafer Mazdah and Tabish, while on Thursday, the towns of Tel al-Sawater and Hartamieh were liberated in southern Idlib.

According to reports of the Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria, with the support of Syrian aviation and Russia, terrorists suffered the loss of a hundred artillery vehicles, including 11 tanks, four drones, 38 guns and at least two vehicles driven by suicides that did not reach their targets.

The aforementioned source also revealed that armed radicals have been violating the agreed truces in over 30 times every day. They attacked rocket and mortar residential neighborhoods in the city of Aleppo, causing serious material damages and injuries to half a dozen civilians.

Other Syrians sources and the Al Masdar chain revealed that the Turkish-backed extremist group «Syrian National Army» sent reinforcements to the western camp of the Aleppo Governorate, as well as those of the Harakat Nouriddeen Al Zinki group, affiliated and in cooperation with the Front for the Liberation of the Levant, formerly known as the Al-Nusra Front.

Meanwhile, the General Command of the Army and the Syrian Armed Forces announced to having liberated 29 towns in the south and southeast of Idlib so far and the stability of fighting positions in Aleppo.
