According to the sources and the Drinking Water Company in that region, 710 km north of Damascus, they are even preventing the repair of facilities, including the Aluk plant, located in the city of Ras Al Ain.
The reports indicate that the region’s inhabitants are likely to receive water only eight days a month, insufficient for the number of inhabitants, and that the plant has been sabotaged on more than 10 occasions.
In Hasaka, with 23,334 square kilometers and more than one and a half million inhabitants, Turkish troops are present and without the consent of Damascus, supporting with all means a so-called Syrian National Army, made up of elements of the former Free Syrian Army.
