Some 817,208 patients were recovered from coronavirus, after reaching 34,602 recoveries on Thursday, so recovery rate stood at 63.45%, according to data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Covid-19 death toll in India rose to 30,601, after reaching 740 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Active cases of the disease in the country amounted to 440,135.
India, the world’s third worst-hit country by coronavirus after the United States and Brazil, surpassed 1,100,000 cases on Monday, and today -four days later- is very close to exceeding 1,300,000 cases.
