In June, unemployment in Italy showed a 0.6% increase compared to May, with a higher incidence among young people where that indicator grew from 25.7% to 27.6%, ISTAT noted.
During the second quarter of 2020, about 459,000 jobs (2%) were lost. That figure increased in June of this year to 753,000 jobs (3.2%) -613,000 employees and 140,000 self-employed workers-, compared to the same month of 2019.
