In one day, 5,871 new infections were detected after 309,000 diagnostic tests were performed on Covid-19, while a total of 806,720 people were reported to have been infected after more than 26,600,000 tests were performed since March.
The daily figure mentioned was below six thousand for the sixth consecutive day, something that could lead the Government to announce yesterday the resumption of international flights from August 1st.
