The Undersecretary of Prevention of Public Health and federal spokesman for the pandemic, Hugo Lopez Gatell, showed the map in which the situation of each one of the 2.470 municipalities of the country is detailed by colors according to the viral load or infection.
The map also shows a detailed 178-page chart depicting the toll of Covid-19 patients, suspects and deceased, as well as hospital availability, among other info necessary to set up care policies and make decisions.
Through a new chart, the federal government released on Friday the municipal distribution of the Covid-19 spread across the national territory, as well as the 969 municipalities free of epidemic.
This map will allow a staggered release of lockdown measures, resumption of classes and work from May 17 as it is expected to benefit 483 locations at that level throughout the country to complete 969.
