Sunday’s report states that of 1,782,846 diagnostic tests, 11,302 patients are hospitalized and among them, 1,227 are in intensive care units.
Most of cases are reported in Lima and the adjacent city of Callao, totaling 174,364 cases and 4,937 deaths.
All provinces are infected with coronavirus cases. In four of them, some 85 Cuban health professionals, members of the Henry Reeve International Contingent, are fighting the pandemic along with their Peruvian colleagues.
The Cuban medical brigade has 27 members in northern Chimbote city, in Ancash region; 26 and 16 in the capitals of Arequipa and Moquegua, respectively, and 16 in the capital of Ayacucho.
Ancash reports 8,652 cases and 505 deaths; Arequipa, 7,807 and 309; Ayacucho, 1,982 and 29 and Moquegua, 1,122 and 16, respectively.
